Suitable for many housing, agricultural and structural applications, the mix is chosen from a list of designated concretes including General, Reinforced, Foundation and Pavement, depending on the site conditions and the application for which it is to be used. The mix is then produced in accordance with BS 8500 and requires the producer to hold a current product conformity certificate based on product testing and surveillance.
Simplifying the ordering process reduces the chance of error and increases the likelihood of achieving the required durability and design.
